About Halcyon

Halcyon is an Emmy and NAACP Award-nominated TV maker living in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Most recently she has worked as Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer on multiple projects, including Karma’s World and the upcoming Dee & Friends in Oz. Before that, she was a director and producer for Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. 

You’ve seen her work on Nickelodeon, Netflix, PBS, and Apple TV, written up in The New York Times, Essence, The Hollywood Reporter, and Vulture. Her mission is to create work that centers experiences underrepresented in media to foster greater understanding, all through stories driven by funny and heart.
